More Dresses for Georgia

So you didn't think I'd let the weekend come and go without whipping out another dress, right?! I have found my new crack...I mentioned I think I have ADHD, right? So here's the world's ugliest pillowcase (lace and all) I purchased at Goodwill on Friday - 2/$3.99.

This was project was so easy! I folded the pillowcase in half and then cut J-shaped holes for her arms. Laid in some elastic and, sewed on some pre-made bias tape from Joann's, and presto! My inexperience with bias tape prolonged this project by an extra hour - totalling 2 hours to complete this dress from start to finish. I was really struggling to take pictures of my model this weekend. She was too pre-occupied with the car table that we also got during our shopping trip to Goodwill.

Since this dress is identical front and back, just imagine her smiling, snaggle tooth face here.

And because I have ADHD, I decided to try the Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe (I'll link back to the actual recipe when I'm able to relocate it). I was out of chocolate chips, but I had just been to Henry's earlier in the morning and picked up some chocolate covered peanut clusters as a Saturday-night-sneaky-snack for Rocky. He willingly donated his peanut clusters for promise of a cookie that would blow his mind. I also added peanut butter and white chocolate chips to my batter, why? Because I was in the mood to give my husband instantaneous diabetes.

Looks yum, right? These cookies are huge! They are a giant gut bomb. And although we are huge Oreo lovers in this household, this cookie was just "eh." Whether eaten warm 'n gooey, or room temp, the flavor of the Oreo just dies. Even if I didn't add everything but the kitchen sink to the batter, this still would be an "eh" cookie. However, we are definitely looking forward to the remaining Peanut Butter-Peanut-Cluster-White-Chocolate-Chip-Oatmeal dough that is still tempting us in the refrigerator (Update: I baked a batch this morning before Houston's doctor's appointment - without the Oreo cookie = bomb ass cookies!)

LASTLY!, we hung and wired our TV over our fireplace so we could accommodate Rocky's new gaming chair (seeeeexxxxaaaay). A trip to Home Depot, Home Goods, Sunday Church, and a stranger's house to pick up free eyelet sheets for - you guessed it - more dresses for Georgia!
I'M EXHAUSTED.
Phew!

Happy Monday!
